About this project

Intimacypedia is a free, open encyclopedia of intimacy and sexual health for adults. It exists because accurate information about bodies, consent and risk is still scattered across clinical PDFs, paywalls and forums.

Articles describe anatomy, practices and risk plainly and completely. We do not omit information to protect readers from the subject matter; we give the facts and the precautions alongside them.

Editorial standards

• Facts, not guesses. If evidence is uncertain, the article says so.
• Sources at the end of every article. Uncited pages carry a visible warning.
• All bodies: cis, trans, intersex, disabled, older, pregnant and postpartum readers.
• Harm reduction over abstinence framing: describe risk, then how to lower it.
• No moralising, no shaming, no assumed relationship structure or orientation.

Anyone can edit

There is no account to create. Every save is stored as a revision with an edit summary, and any earlier version can be restored from the article's history. Edits are rate-limited to slow down vandalism.
